PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment selection device for selecting the optimal cogeneration equipment.SOLUTION: An equipment selection system 10 is configured to, on the basis of demand characteristic information of power by a first facility which receives the supply of power from a cogeneration system and demand characteristic information of heat by a second facility which receives the supply of heat from the cogeneration system and performance information corresponding to an operation rate of cogeneration equipment which supplies heat to the second facility while supplying power to the first facility, calculate an amount of load necessary for the supply of power to the first facility and the supply of heat to the second facility, and to calculate the minimum value of the amount of load while changing the operation rate from an initial value, and to select the cogeneration equipment with the minimum amount of load.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
