Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a TV signal transmission/amplification device which has two amplifiers to process the different frequency bands and causes no phase shift. CONSTITUTION: This device includes an input terminal I and an output terminal O which can be connected to a distribution cable of characteristic impedance R0 , the 1st and 2nd branch lines having amplifiers A1 and A2 which are placed in parallel to each other between both terminals I and O, and an HPF placed between the terminal I and the amplifier A1 and an LPF placed between the terminal I and the amplifier A2 for selection of different frequency bands against both amplifiers A1 and A2 respectively. In such a constitution, both HPF and LPF have the same nominal cut-off frequency. Then the HPF has an input capacitor C1 of value C which is set in series to the 1st branch line, and the LPF has an input inductance L2 of value L which is set in series to the 2nd branch line and also has the L/C nominal value equal to 2R0 <2> .
