Abstract:
To provide a device for titanium casting capable of providing a titanium ingot having reduced segregation.SOLUTION: A mold 16R comprises a cylindrical inner circumferential face 26 forming a cavity 16a opened up and down and fed with a molten metal 2. The inner circumferential face 26 comprises a plurality of corner parts 31 to 34 and a molten metal pouring side lateral face 45 formed between the two corner parts 31, 34 and closest to a molten metal pouring port 23 to be poured with the molten metal 2 in the inner circumferential face 26 in a plan view viewed from the upper part of the mold 16R. In a plan view, in such a manner that the molten metal pouring port 23 is located at a part off-set along a direction in which the molten metal pouring side lateral face 45 extends from the center 45a of the molten metal pouring side lateral face 45 in the cavity 16a, the mold 16R is arranged. The lengths L1 to L4 of the plurality of corner parts 31 to 34 in a plan view are ununiform.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
