Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to utilize other apparatus when an apparatus fails even in a case where no alternative apparatus is available on a network to which the apparatus is connected.SOLUTION: When a failure detection unit 12 detects that a failure has occurred in a compound machine 10, a ticket issue unit 16 issues a ticket 31 including identification information on the compound machine 10 and information on an unavailable function due to the failure. The ticket 31 is taken into a portable terminal 30 owned by a user when the portable terminal 30 reads an image code displayed on a screen of the compound machine 10, or via wireless communication. The user carries the portable terminal 30 to another compound machine 20 to input the ticket 31 in the compound machine 20. The compound machine 20 executes the function shown by the input ticket 31 for free.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
