Abstract:
To provide an eraser capable of completely erasing characters displayed on a surface of a microcapsule magnetophoretic display sheet.SOLUTION: An eraser comprises a case to be held by a user, and a plurality of magnets retained inside the case, where adjacent magnets of the plurality of magnets are positioned to have different magnetic field lines. Such an arrangement allows for altering magnetic field lines acting on microcapsules without using a battery and thus completely erasing characters displayed on a surface of a microcapsule magnetophoretic display sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
