Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily estimate an erosion environment in which solid particles collide against a target object.SOLUTION: An erosion environment estimation method comprises: a monitor-member placement step of placing a monitor member formed of at least one of a metallic member and an inorganic member on a target object; an erosion-environment exposure step of exposing the target object on which the monitor member is placed to an erosion environment; an erosion-amount calculation step calculating an erosion amount of the monitor member exposed to the erosion environment; and an erosion-environment estimation step of comparing the erosion amount of the monitor member with an erosion amount of a material identical to the monitor member and exposed to a known erosion environment in advance, and estimating the erosion environment of the target object.
