Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a lubricant that is excellent in low frictional property and in which early detachment due to hydrogen embrittlement at the contact part where two objects slide can effectively be prevented by the improvement of a base oil; a method for producing the same; and a mechanical part using said lubricant.SOLUTION: Provided is a lubricant used for lubricating contact part where two objects slide, said lubricant is an ester oil-containing lubricant and said ester oil is an ester oil that is given a thermal hysteresis at a high temperature equal to or lower than its flash point (for example, the flash point of the ester oil is 200 to 320°C, the high temperature is within 150°C of the flash point, and the time to give the thermal hysteresis is 100 hours or more), and it is used as a base oil or the like of a grease 7 to be included in a rolling shaft bearing 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
