NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I [R1 is (substituted)higher alkyl; R2 is primary tertiary amino or quaternary ammonium; m is 1 or 2; n is 3W10] or salt thereof.
EXAMPLE: 4-{2-[2-(Octadecyloxy)ethoxy]ethoxy}butyltrimethylammonium mesyl ate.
USE: An antitumor agent, having remarkable cellulicidal action on tumorous cells and capable of exhibiting effects by administering to cancerated animals without any blood platelet activating action and consequent no side effects based on the above-mentioned action.
PREPARATION: A compound expressed by formula II (Y is halogen, benezenesulfonyloxy, etc.) is reacted with an amine expressed by formula III (R3 and R4 are H or lower alkyl) or formula IV (R5 is H or lower alkyl) to afford the aimed compound expressed by formula I.
