Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the subject composition excellent in peeling strength, impact strength, vibration resistance and heat resistance and useful as a structural adhesive, powder coating, etc., by compounding the saponified product of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, etc., with an aliphatic polycarboxylic acid, etc.
CONSTITUTION: (A) The saponified product of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer or its grafted product is compounded with (B) an aliphatic or aromatic polycarboxylic acid or its anhydride (e.g. maleic anhydride, trimellitic anhydride) in an amount of 0.001-20wt.% based on the component A to provide the objective composition.
