Abstract:
To provide an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin excellent in film processability and excellent in appearance when formed into a film, and a film using this.SOLUTION: An ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin containing vinyl acetate units of 3 mass% or larger and 30 mass% or smaller, in which the ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer resin has a ratio (AIR/BIR) between absorbance ratio AIR and absorbance ratio BIR obtained by a test method having the following processes (1) to (4) of 0.80 or larger and 1.40 or smaller. Process (1): a process of preparing a test film under prescribed conditions using the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, process (2): a process of detecting the detected portion A and undetected portion B of the test film by using a film inspection apparatus under the condition in which a measurement interval is set to 0.1 mm and a concave and convex detection size is set to 0.2 mm or larger and 1.0 mm or smaller, respectively, process (3): a process of obtaining an absorbance ratio AIR of absorbance at 965 cm-1 and absorbance at 720 cm-1 by micro infrared absorption measurement (transmission method) of the nuclear portion of the portion A, and process (4): a process of obtaining an absorbance ratio BIR of absorbance at 965 cm-1 and absorbance at 720 cm-1 by a micro infrared absorption measurement (transmission method) of the portion B (transmission method).SELECTED DRAWING: None
