Abstract:

To execute safe and reliable evacuation from a fire of a high-rise building where conventional evacuation device cannot be used.

The device is comprised of an uppermost floor section where a boarding control damper 10 of a hydraulic slow descender with a spring is provided in a cylindrical escape chute, an intermediate floor section B, and a lowermost floor section C, in a well in the fireproof section of a high-rise building, and wire switches 9, 19, 31 to operate the boarding control damper between the sections and an extensible air bag to hold descent speed constant in the cylinder are provided, thereby allowing control of the sequence of boarding of escapers and safe evacuation.
