Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an escape device with excellent usability. The present invention is configured to comprise: a lifting/lowering table (4) that descends to a lower-level floor surface (3) from a waiting position held at an upper-level floor (1); a cover (5) that conceals an upper surface of the lifting/lowering table (4); a handrail (7) that is connected to a handrail bracket (6), which is fixed on the lifting/lowering table (4), in a manner rotatable from a fallen position to a risen position with bias towards the risen position, said handrail (7) being held in the fallen position by the cover (5); and a handrail lock (8) that restricts movement of the handrail (7) to the fallen position as the handrail (7) transitions to the risen position.
