Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method for the activity distribution of ceramic powder, by which the activity distribution can be measured with high accuracy and simply, and to provide a method of manufacturing an oriented magnetic steel sheet which has superior magnetic characteristics and superior film characteristic, using a magnesium oxide powder optimized by the evaluation method.
SOLUTION: A solution which dissolves the ceramic powder is mixed with the ceramic powder, and a process in which the ceramic powder is dissolved is detected by an optical, magnetic or electrical method, and the activity of the ceramic powder is evaluated, on the basis of the change with time in its measured value.
