PURPOSE: To evaluate the stable and high reproductivity without any damage of a disk by a lifter of a thin side member at all and under alleviation of degree of collision between the magnetic head and the disk.

CONSTITUTION: This is to evaluate dynamic characteristic performance of such a floating magnetic head device 10 that a magnetic head having a magnetic head core 2 for recording and reproducing a magnetic to/from recording medium is fitted with a suspension 3 as a supporting body. The floating magnetic head 10 under the state of being attracted by an attracting means 5 from an upper part of the suspension 3 is carried to be above the rotating disk 4, and this attraction is canceled, and then the dynamic characteristic performance is evaluated.
