Abstract:
To provide an evaluation method for foundation capable of estimating ultimate bearing power qt of the foundation from a measurement value by a rotational penetration test.SOLUTION: An evaluation method for foundation executes regression analysis including penetration energy necessary for penetrating a penetration rod 1 in a predetermined depth section as an explanation variable, in a penetration test in which the penetration rod 1 having a penetration body on its tip rotationally penetrates into the ground and a rotational torque T of the penetration rod 1 is measured with a load on the penetration rod 1 gradually changed, and thereby estimates ultimate bearing power of the foundation that is a target variable. The estimation value by the estimation method is close to an actual value and has high reliability.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
