Abstract:
To make it easier to identify a large number of nematodes by visual observation and also by AI image recognition, and to facilitate an evaluation of tracking behavior, in a high-sensitivity and high-specificity cancer test method (N-Nose method).SOLUTION: An evaluation of tracking behavior using unmodified wild nematodes (Caenorhabditis elegans) in which carbon dot luminescent materials are contained in bodies or digestive tracts, or adsorbed on body surfaces to impart luminescence, is performed for a specimen sample such as urine. The carbon dot luminescent material is a luminescent material having a particle size of 1 nm to 10 nm which is synthesized by heating a raw material solution which exhibits fluorescence or phosphorescence by photoexcitation and contains at least one or more kinds of low-molecular-weight organic compound containing nitrogen or oxygen in addition to at least carbon atoms.SELECTED DRAWING: None
