Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress fluctuation of an air-fuel ratio to minimum at the time of starting purge control in any case, in an evaporated fuel treatment device for an internal combustion engine, by varying a starting condition of the purge control according to an estimated atmospheric value, and thereby enabling corresponding to an overrich state of an air-fuel ratio in the state that an actual atmospheric pressure is high and the estimated atmospheric value is low while setting the specified value under the low estimated atmospheric value larger.
SOLUTION: A specified value of an engine load is varied, while the engine load serves as a purge control condition for starting purge control according to an estimated atmospheric value. A control means prohibits the purge control when the engine load is not more than the specified value.
