Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporator for a reforming apparatus preventing bumping from generating in the evaporator, and preventing the whole apparatus from being complicated, thus eliminating restrictions regarding costs and scales of the apparatus and eliminating problems in applying to the reforming apparatus.
SOLUTION: In the reforming apparatus in which steam supplied by the evaporator 1 is fed to a reformer 3 through a heat exchanger 2, the evaporator 1 is composed of an evaporation heat exchanger 10 equipped with a heat exchange section generating steam by evaporating water passing therethrough with gas for heat exchange, and a wooly member for preventing bumping is arranged at least in the inlet section of the upstream side of the heat exchange section.
