Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of scissors with clamps, which clamp an object with considerable force before cutting with blades and can keep the clamp even after starting cutting without being influenced by the diameter or the like, of an object to be cut.
SOLUTION: The scissors have two blades for cutting an object and two clamp 2, 3 for clamping the object. At least one clamp is movably equipped on one blade via an elastic body with initial elastic force to clamp the object in cooperation with the other clamp. The clamps meet before the two blade meet when blades is moved in the cutting direction. One clamp is brought into contact with another clamp with pressure over the initial elastic force of the elastic body after the contact to clamp the object and two blades meet following the contact of clamps to cut the object.
