To provide an examination system wherein there is no risk of examination questions being taken out by an examinee and wherein failures rarely occur.
A server 1 performs distribution of examination questions, marking of the answers, judgement of pass/failure of the examinee, etc., and is connected to a network 2 such as the Internet. In each examination site 3, a large number of thin clients 4, 4, ... are installed and connected to the server 1 via the network 2. The thin client 4 is an inexpensive client computer into which the examinee inputs answers, and whose function is narrowed to the minimum for example, display, input, and communication and is not provided with a hard disk device or a floppy disk drive. In the examination system, by using the thin client, examination questions can be prevented from being taken out by the examinee, and failures rarely occur.
