PURPOSE: To permit an unskilled operator to perform effective excavation works to the same degree as by any skilled operator.
CONSTITUTION: Displacement of an operation lever 15 is converted into valve control value (x) by a controller 16, which includes a memory part 26 wherein the relation between the engine revolving speed and the comparative output (predetermined depending upon max. output) is set and stored, and therewith the revolving speed of the engine is sensed by a sensor 17, and the comparative output WD for the obtained revolving speed NE is extracted. The discharge pressure P of a pump 11 is sensed by a sensor 18, and the oil pressure output WH is calculated on the basis of the rate of discharge flow Q of this pump 11 and the revolving speed NE of the engine. The valve control value (x) is corrected in accordance with the relative order of magnitude of the oil pressure output WH and comparative output WD and the difference between them, and the corrected valve control value X is given to control valves 12, 13, 14 provided for a boom, stick, and bucket.
