Abstract:
To provide an excavator capable of excavating efficiently a groove or a slit H on a material to be excavated and to provide an excavating process.
The excavator 1 is supported with a freely movable transfer stand 120 along a rail 110 provided to the material to be excavated C. An excavating tool 5 wherein a tip 7 of the excavator 1 is provided on an outer periphery of a rod 6 is rotatively driven. The excavating tool 5 is moved along the rail 110 in a state of making its outer periphery abut against the material C to be excavated and the slit H is formed on the material C to be excavated.
