Abstract:
PURPOSE: To decrease the number of extension, and to improve workability by installing driving gears simultaneously giving revolving torque and thrust to the lower sections of a pair of posts disposed in upright into the working tunnel of a dam, lengthening a distance up to a ceiling and lengthening the length of a test pitting rod to be extended.
CONSTITUTION: A driving gear M simultaneously giving revolving torque and thrust is mounted on the lower section of a post with jacks J disposed in upright into a working tunnel T, and height H from a base F is lowered extremely. A rod R for test pitting is driven by the driving gear M, and extended successively and excavation is conducted. The length L of the rod R is lengthened extremely, thus reducing the number of extension. Accordingly, the workability of excavation can be improved.
