To measure an angle of inclination at as plurality of positions along the shaft of an auger screw simultaneously and process the measured angle of inclination of each part collectively.
This excavator 1 consists of an anger screw 2 which comprises dividable shafts 2a and 2b...2n and a screw provided around the same shafts 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d...2n, a space machine 8 which supports the auger screw 2 and a boring mechanism 11 which drives the anger screw turnably. In this case, a plurality of clinometers are provided in the auger screw 2 with a specified spacing, thereby enabling the angle of inclination to be measured simultaneously at a plurality of different points in the excavated hole. A power supply cable is provided in a hollow area of the auger screw 2, thereby enabling power to be supplied to the clinometer all the time.
