Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an excessive load preventing device for a crane which prevents the excessive load state of crane.
CONSTITUTION: An excessive load preventing device equipped with a load detecting means 100 for detecting the physical quantity related to the hoisting load of a crane performs the excessive load preventing control for the hoisting device 101 of the crane on the basis of the detected physical quantity. The excessive load preventing device is equipped with an increase rate detecting means 102 for detecting the increase rate per unit time of the physical quantity and a control means 103 for suspending the operation of the hoisting device 101 when the increase rate over a prescribed quantity is detected by the increase rate detecting means 102, and the excessive load of the crane is prevented beforehand.
