Abstract:

To provide an exciter and a motor using the exciter wherein field system units are arranged on the inside and the outside of the exciter, and a flux density (B)is increased with magnetoresistance and an iron loss of the exciter reduced.

The exciter used for the motor has field system units disposed at the inside and the outside of the exciter. The exciter includes a plurality of teeth annularly arranged, wherein the teeth are stacked with an easily magnetized shaft of a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel plate arranged in a radial direction of the exciter, and nonmagnetic materials are used to fix between the teeth. An exciting coil to generate a moving magnetic field is wound on the teeth.
