Abstract:

To provide an exercise apparatus which enables the training of the muscles of not only the lower body but also the upper body of a user.

A rocking type exercise apparatus 1 includes: a seat 2a rocking with the user sitting on it; a leg part 50 supporting the seat 2a; and grip parts 30 so positioned on the seat 2a to be holdable with the user's hands. The grip parts 30 comprise holding parts 31 to be held by the user and link parts 33 for linking the respective holding parts 31 to the seat 2a. The link parts 33 are made up of elastic body while being so extended in a direction almost orthogonal to the direction of rocking as to make the holding parts 31 oscillate to match the rocking direction of the seat 2a.
