To provide an exercise assistance device that can multilaterally stimulate the adductor muscles of the feet only by stepping up on the foot rest board.
This device is provided with a main body frame 2, a foot rest board 3, the first support means 4 placed between a lower surface 3a of the foot rest board and an upper part 2a of the main body frame, and having an inclined surface 4a to support the foot rest board as inclined, the first rotary mechanism 5 which rotates the foot rest board on the inclined surface of the first support means, the second rotary mechanism 6 which rotates the first support means on the main body frame separately from the rotation movement of the foot rest board, and the second support means 7 provided inside of the first support means and fixed to the main body frame and connecting the foot rest board movement-free at its center position. The foot rest board and the second support means 7 have a connecting mechanism 9 to connect each other so that, when the first support means is rotated by the driving means, the foot rest board supported by the second support means should not rotate together with the first support means and so that the center of the rotation movement practically comes to match to the center position of the foot rest board.
