To provide an exercise machine allowing a user to easily and surely learn how to exert a force fitted to an action mode for each sport item and responding to the specificity of the action mode of every sport.

This exercise machine is provided with, at least, a single pulley and provides a user with a muscle training or rehabilitation by increasingly/decreasingly changing a load. At least, one of the pulley is set to a deformed cam. The deformed cam is so manufactured as to respond to output characteristics fitted to the action mode of an intended training using, for example, a relation of F×L= constant (where F is a force and L is a distance from the central axis to the outer circumference of the deformed cam).
