Abstract:
To provide an improved exhaust aftertreatment device that highly efficiently removes exhaust emissions through heating of exhaust gas by using an electric heat generating element and improved evaporation by using an evaporation member.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an exhaust aftertreatment device (20) converting NOx emissions. The exhaust aftertreatment device includes: an injector (34) configured to inject a liquid reducing agent for supplying ammonia to an SCR catalyst; and a heater (38) disposed upstream of the SCR catalyst and heating the injected liquid reducing agent, the heater having an electric heat generating element (40) and at least one evaporation member (42, 43) configured to be heated by the element. The heater has the evaporation member disposed in a fluid conduit when attached, and is disposed detachably relative to fluid so that at least part of the injected liquid reducing agent comes contact with the evaporation member during the injection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
