Abstract:

To provide an exhaust emission control device capable of efficiently reproducing a filter.

The exhaust emission control device 1 has: an exhaust pipe 7; the filter 4 provided in the exhaust pipe 7 and collecting a particulate matter contained in an exhaust gas; and a reproducing mechanism for removing the particulate matter deposited on the filter 4. The reproducing mechanism has: an unburnt fuel addition device 3 for adding unburnt fuel to the exhaust gas at the upstream side of the filter 4; an exhaust gas temperature detector for detecting the temperature of the exhaust gas; an air flow rate detector detecting an air flow rate supplied to the engine 10; and a control unit 6 for determining a lower limit temperature threshold based on the air flow rate obtained from the air flow rate detector and adding the unburnt fuel to the exhaust gas by controlling the unburnt fuel addition device 3 when the temperature of the exhaust gas which is obtained in the exhaust gas temperature detector is higher than the lower limit temperature threshold.
