Abstract:

To provide an exhaust gas boiler that elevates heat exchanger effectiveness and reduces passage resistance to exhaust gas by eliminating a variation in exhaust gas flow velocity in the vertical direction of heat exchanger tube rows.

The exhaust gas boiler has a heat exchanger tube array chamber 13 where a plurality of heat exchanger tubes 12 mounted with a plurality of fin plates 11 perpendicular to the longitudinal tube direction at given intervals in the longitudinal direction are arrayed parallel in a substantially vertical position, and an exhaust gas inlet chamber 14 defined upstream of the heat exchanger tube rows in the heat exchanger tube array chamber 13, and creates a flow of exhaust gas G led into the exhaust gas inlet chamber 14 into the heat exchanger tube array chamber 13 to develop heat exchange between the exhaust gas G and a medium in the heat exchanger tubes 12. A side of the exhaust gas inlet chamber 14 has an opening 14a substantially over the full length of mounting of the fin plates 11 on the heat exchanger tubes 12, and the opening 14a leads the exhaust gas G into the exhaust gas inlet chamber 14.
