Abstract:
To provide an exhaust gas purification catalyst and an exhaust gas purification system having excellent NOx purification performance and ammonia slip suppression performance in an exhaust gas.SOLUTION: There is provided an exhaust gas purification catalyst which comprises a substrate, a first catalyst layer containing an NOx selective reducing catalyst as an outermost surface layer provided on the substrate and a second catalyst layer containing an NHoxidation catalyst which is interposed between the substrate and the first catalyst layer. In the exhaust gas purification catalyst, the second catalyst layer has an exposed region which is not covered by the first catalyst layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
