Abstract:
To efficiently purify HC in exhaust gas at a low temp.
An HC adsorbing part 4 adsorbing HC in exhaust gas at a low temp. and desorbing the same at high temp. is formed to the front part of a carrier 1 and an HC purifying catalyst part 5 having Pd is formed to the rear part thereof. The activity developing temp. of the HC adsorbing part 4 is lower than that of the HC purifying catalyst part 5.
