Abstract:
PURPOSE:To ensure a led amount of secondary air so as to improve purifying efficiency for exhaust gas by opening a secondary air forcibly feeding port on the fan case of a cooling fan interlocked to a crank shaft so as to form a secondary air guide passage, and communicating an exhaust passage with the final end part of the secondary air guide passage. CONSTITUTION:An engine cooling fan is installed on a crank shaft 5, and it is covered with a fan case 7. Outside air 19 is led from a cooling air leading port 24 into the fan case 7, and supplied into a cylinder head cooling air passage, and also the outside air 19 is supplied from a final end part 36 into a secondary air leading port 33 through a secondary air guide pipe 35 from the secondary air forcibly feeding port 8 of the fan case 7. Forcibly feeding force of secondary air 4 is increased at the time of high speed operation, and its large amount is led into a first expansion chamber 29. It is thus possible to improve oxiding efficiency of harmful component in exhaust gas by an oxiding catalyst 2, also improve purifying efficiency for exhaust gas.
