Abstract:
To reduce the size of an exhaust gas treatment apparatus for ethylene oxide gas (EOG) sterilizer by reducing the thermal reaction capability of a thermal reaction converter for detoxicating EOG.
In this exhaust gas treatment apparatus for EOG sterilizer, a receiver tank 21 is disposed between a chamber 11 for sterilizing an object to be sterilized with EOG and the thermal reaction converter 22 for receiving mixed gas of EOG discharged from the chamber 11 by an aeration process at the end of sterilization and fresh air and detoxicating the mixed gas, the discharged gas from the chamber 11 is guided to the tank 21 to be mixed with fresh air in the receiver tank 21, and the mixed gas is supplied to the thermal reaction converter 22.
