Abstract:
PURPOSE: To maintain the dust collecting property for a long period, by providing a static electricity generator to charge the powders in the exhaust gas respectively so as to be adsorbed to a pair of electrodes, when the powder such as carbon, for example, in the powders included in the exhaust gas is simply removed.
CONSTITUTION: When an exhaust gas is delivered forcibly in a box body 40 passing through a suction hood 50, the major part of the powders included in the exhaust gas are caught by either one of powder removing devices 80. That is, of the powders included in the exhaust gas, majority of powders whose particle diameter is relatively large are attached to the surfaces of filters 82 and removed. On the other hand, majority of powders whose particle diameter is relatively small are charged to plus or minus by either one of a pair of electrodes 81 and 81 positioned to the inner side, a static electricity in the reverse polarity to the charged charge is given, and they are attracted and attached to either one of plural electrodes 81 and 81 provided in the box body 40. The exhaust gas from which majority of powders are removed passes through an exhaust hood 60, and exhausted into the atmosphere.
