To provide an exhaust gas treatment device which removes NOx, SOx and Hg of a modification exhaust gas and a boiler exhaust gas generated from a coal modification process, as well as a method for treating an exhaust gas and coal modification process facilities.
This exhaust gas treatment device treats a boiler exhaust gas generated by combusting by a boiler either one of the modification exhaust gas and a dry distillation oil or both of them generated when a low quality level coal is modified. In addition, the exhaust gas treatment device comprises a boiler which combusts either one of the modification exhaust gas and the dry distillation oil or both of them, an agent supply part which supplies into the flue of the boiler either one or more of a reducing agent for reducing a nitrogen oxide with the help of a denitrification catalyst, an oxidation assistant for oxidizing mercury in the coexistence of hydrogen chloride, and a reduction oxidation assistant for reducing the nitrogen oxide with the help of the denitrification catalyst and at the same time, oxidizing mercury in the coexistence of hydrogen chloride, a catalyst reaction device which includes the denitrification catalyst for reducing the nitrogen oxide with the help of the reducing agent and at the same time, oxidizing the mercury in the coexistence of hydrogen oxide, and a wet desulfurization device for absorbing and removing a sulfur oxide and the mercury oxidized at the catalyst reaction device with the assistance of an absorbing liquid.
