Abstract:
To provide an exhaust heat recovery unit capable of enhancing space efficiency.SOLUTION: An exhaust heat recovery unit comprises: a heat exchange section; a main flow passage which has an introduction port to introduce exhaust gas, a main discharge port to discharge the exhaust gas flowing in a first direction from the introduction port out of the unit, a supply port to supply the exhaust gas from the main flow passage to the heat exchange section, and a return port to return the exhaust gas passing through the heat exchange section to the main flow passage; a valve to adjust an amount of the exhaust gas supplied from the main flow passage to the heat exchange section; and an actuator to open and close the valve. The supply port supplies the exhaust gas to the heat exchange section by flowing the exhaust gas in a second direction intersecting with the first direction. The heat exchange section flows the exhaust gas in a third directions intersecting with the first and the second directions, the first direction, and a fourth direction opposite to the third direction. The return port returns the exhaust gas to the main flow passage by flowing the same in a fifth direction opposite to the second direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
