Title:
EXHAUST HEAT STRUCTURE OF ENGINE ROOM FOR VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06328953
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an exhaust heat structure simple in structure, having both of fundamental performance concerning aerodynamic and car outside noise and exhaust heat performance and capable of acquiring ideal heat distribution in an engine room.

CONSTITUTION: By longitudinally dividing an under cover 15 into an upstream side cover 16 and a downstream side cover 17 in the neighborhood of a front end part of an engine 2, positioning a rear end 16b of the upstream side cover 16 in the state where a vertical clearance is provided below a front end 17a of the downstream side cover 17 and they are overlapped in the longitudinal direction, a first hot-air outlet 18 is formed. Thereafter, between a rear end 17b of the downstream side cover 17 and a rear end 1b of an engine room 1, a longitudinal clearance as a second hot-air outlet 20 is provided, a radiator 6 is set in the backward inclined state, simultaneously between the upper end of the radiator 6 and the upper end of the engine 2, a breaking means 12 is provided and above a trans-axle 13 of the engine 2, a ventilation passage 14 is secured.
