Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust method and device for an internal combustion engine capable of obtaining good rotation and power of the engine even at starting time and low/intermediate speed time.
SOLUTION: This exhaust method, connecting an expansion chamber between front/rear exhaust pipes communicating with an exhaust port of an internal combustion engine, changes volume of the expansion chamber in accordance with changing of an exhaust pressure from the internal combustion engine. This device includes the front exhaust pipe communicating with the exhaust port of the internal combustion engine, expansion chamber connected thereto to have a cylinder part and an end plate, piston inserted capable of air-tightly sliding in a cylinder part of the expansion chamber to have an exhaust hole inserted in an axial direction, hollow piston rod communicating with a through hole of the piston to be inserted capable of sliding in the cylinder end plate, compression spring fit inserted in an external periphery of the piston rod, and the rear exhaust pipe connected to a through hole of the cylinder end plate to guide the piston rod.
