To illuminate an exhibited object without mounting an illuminator on a mounting surface of an exhibition device and to improve the exhibition effect of the exhibited object made of a translucent material.
The exhibited object 50 is set on a rotary table of the exhibition device 1. A base stand 51 of the exhibited object 50 is locked by a stopper 6 and the exhibited object 50 is fixed to the rotary table. Then, a power switch 36 is turned on, so that the rotary table, a lens, and the exhibited object 50 are rotated together. At the time, the speed of rotation of the rotary table is set at a desired speed by a rotation speed adjusting dial 37. The exhibited object 50 is illuminated by a light source below (inside a casing body 2) through the interior of the body 52, and the color of the object changes while rotating.
