Abstract:
To provide an expandable polystyrene having uniform and fine cell structure.
The invention relates to an expandable polystyrene (EPS) containing a polyolefin wax. The polyolefin wax is produced by using a metallocene catalyst and has a drop melting point or a ring and ball softening point of 80-165°C and a melt viscosity of 20-10,000 mPas measured at a temperature higher than the drop melting point or the ring and ball softening point by 10°C.
