Title:
EXPANDED IMAGE SIGNAL GENERATION USING FIELD MEMORY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3717648
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expanded image signal generating method using field memory.
SOLUTION: By repeating an image signal expanding processing cycle composed of n-th to (n+5)th fields, one field of an expanded image signal read out in the order of n-th to (n+5)th fields is sequentially processed into video image signal by a sequential signal processing circuit and displayed on a display screen in the order of odd-numbered and even-numbered fields through interlace scanning by video image reproducing equipment such as an external television or video projector. Then, an expansion object area to be sequentially written in the odd-numbered and even-numbered blocks of a field memory 25 can be continuously moved by the designate signal of a microcomputer so that the scroll display of the expanded image is enabled.
