Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply start expansion at an arbitrary time by containing again an expansion panel structure of a support truss system, without starting expansion by an expansible panel structure of the support truss system as soon as binding to a side shell wall of a space vehicle is released.
SOLUTION: A synchronization mechanism 30 that synchronizes an expansion angle between an outer panel and an inner panel and two expansion angles between the inner panel and a center panel is provided to a panel hinge 19. Thus, an expanding motion of a panel 1 is controlled by a truss expansion actuator, and re-containment of the structure on the way of expansion and expansion start in an arbitrary optional timing other than that when binding of the structure to a side shell wall of a space vehicle is released can be simply executed, and the reliability of expansion of the structure is improved and cost reduction is made effective.
