To transport objects so that they will not fall off at the corner part.
An expansion roller conveyor is furnished with a plurality of rollers 1 laid in line so that expansion and contraction is made by changing the spacing of adjoining rollers, and the arrangement is made changeable from straight to curved by changing the roller spacings at the ends so that objects 19 can be transported on a curved transport path 2. If the rollers 1 are put in curved arrangement, the rollers incline in down-gradient from the separating side with wider roller spacing to the approaching side with a narrower spacing. For generating changeability of the roller spacing, the rollers 1 are coupled together through link mechanisms 3 of such a structure that two links are coupled in X-form. Each link mechanism 3 is installed on the side of rollers 1 and coupled with an expansion leg 10. Each expansion leg 10 is coupled with X-link 4 through radial bearing 21 rotatable within a vertical plane. The top and bottom of the X-link 4 are coupled in such a condition as capable of tilting relative to each other through a spherical sliding bearing 20.
