Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of suppressing the expansion of a steelmaking based slag more than the conventional method even if aging is not performed.
SOLUTION: (1) A latent hydraulic or pozzolan reactive silica-containing material is mixed with the steelmaking based slag. (2) The latent hydraulic or pozzolan reactive silica-containing material is mixed by ≥0.3wt.% with the steelmaking based slag. (3) The latent hydraulic or pozzolan reactive silica- containing material is mixed by ≥1wt.% with the steelmaking based slag.
