PURPOSE: To reduce the manufacturing cost of an expansion valve-mounting member for mounting an expansion valve at a heat exchanger, and to enhance the mass productivity.

CONSTITUTION: An expansion valve mounting member 30 is formed of three components of a plate member 31 and tubular members 35, 36. The member 31 is formed with holes 32, 33 in which the members 35, 36 can be inserted, an expansion valve and screw holes 34 formed with threads in inner holes. The members 35, 36 are formed in pipe states having collars 37 at substantially axial centers.
