Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an expellent, enhancing the exterminating effects, enabling the extermination in a short time without damaging laver and manifesting effects of even dilute acids equal to those of concentrated acids and preventing the environment from being polluted by combining laconic acid with other acids.
CONSTITUTION: This expellent for red rot diseases of cultured laver is obtained by blending an aqueous solution of itaconic acid with at least one, selected from the group consisting of adipic, succinic, monochloroacetic, dichloroacetic, trichloroacetic. citric, gluconic, fumaric, formic, lactic, ketoglutaric, phytic, phosphoric, hydrochloric, tartaric, sulfuric, nitric, maleic, malic, propionic, acetic, glutaric and butyric acids. Furthermore, a method for exterminating disease injuries is to immerse the cultured laver in the resultant aqueous solution or spray the solution thereon.
