Title:
EXPLOSION RADIATOR FOR FORMING HORIZONTAL HOLE IN GROUND, ITS ASSEMBLY, AND BLASTING METHOD UTILIZING IT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3442066
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a stable horizontal hole reliably, safely, efficiently, and economically while preventing the collapse of a hole wall face by concentrically and continuously applying the explosive force for an opening blast to a prescribed position on the underground hole wall face.
SOLUTION: A charge chamber 11 is formed at the prescribed position of the center section of a metal main body 10. Discharge ports 13 of the charge chamber 11 are opened in the horizontal direction, and a delayed detonator 23 and a molded explosive 20 are inserted into the charge chamber 11. The molded explosive 20 is recessed into a conical shape at both ends to increase the concentration effect of explosive force by a Neumann effect, and a conical metal liner 22 is fitted as required to increase the destructive force at explosion. An insertion hole 15 is formed on the upper half section of the main body 10, and a lead wire 24 passing through the insertion hole 15 is connected to the delayed detonator 23. Covers 25 are fitted to both ends of the discharge ports 13. The main body 10 is suspended in an underground drilled hole via a connecting chain 50 or the like, then it is lifted to the ground surface after the blast for reuse.
